Certificate II Hospitality

Course Code: SIT20316

Suitable Course Candidate

Bar attendant, bottle shop attendant, catering assistant, kitchen, hand/assistant,food/beverage/housekeeping attendant, porter, receptionist/office assistant gaming attendant, table service, new entrant.

This qualification provides the skills & knowledge for a person to acquire the skills required for an individual operate functionally in a Hospitality environment.

No pre entry qualification requirements.

Qualification Pathway

Those participants who successfully complete qualification are eligible to progress to Level III Hospitality or any other qualification.

Course Units

To gain a Certificate II in Hospitality the trainee is required to complete a total of 12 Units. While 6 of the units are compulsory for the every student, the remaining 6 units can be selected and changed to better fit the nature of the workplace and benefit the student as well.

Reporting and Assistance

After the Initial Trainee Induction visit there will be 4 Assessment visits along with monitoring visits &/or telephone contact and accessible assistance when required.

Certificate III Hospitality

Course Code: SIT30616

Suitable Course Candidate

Staff supervisor, shift supervisor, barista, bar attendant, waiter food/beverage, kitchen attendant, front desk reception, gaming attendant, food & beverage preparation.

This qualification provides the skills & knowledge for a person to acquire the skills required for an individual to operate functionally as a supervisor in a Hospitality environment.

No pre entry qualification requirements.

Qualification Pathway

Those participants who successfully complete qualification are eligible to progress to a Level IV or higher qualification.

Course Units

To gain a Certificate III in Hospitality the student is required to complete a total of 15 Units. While 7 of the units are compulsory for the every student, the remaining 8 units can be selected and changed to better fit the nature of the workplace and benefit the student as well.
